Your adventure begins when your driver picks you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at the time you choose, between 8:30 AM and 10:00 AM.
If you wish to hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls (approximately 1.5 hours), we recommend starting early.
Head towards the Ourika Valley, located less than an hour's drive from the ochre city.
On the way, you'll be amazed by the unfolding landscapes, from mountains and valleys to picturesque villages.
Upon arrival in the valley, you'll be immediately charmed by the fresh air and lush vegetation, especially in the summer.
This getaway allows you to get a glimpse of rural Berber life and immerse yourself in an authentic culture.
You will encounter Berber women working with argan or preparing freshly baked bread that you can taste while still warm.
The Ourika Valley is famous for its waterfalls, especially the 7 waterfalls of Setti-Fatma.
A hike is a must to explore these natural wonders.
The first two waterfalls are easily accessible, while the others require a bit more advanced hiking skills.
A guide is mandatory for this hike, the guide's service is included in the excursion.
After the effort, it's time for comfort!
For lunch, enjoy the many eateries along the river.
You can savor Moroccan specialties such as salads, meat skewers, and Berber tagines cooked over a wood fire, all with your feet in the water.
During your meal, Berber musicians might just add to the convivial atmosphere.
On the way back, you'll have the opportunity to stop for some shopping at local artisans.
Discover fossilized stones, terracotta pottery, colorful cacti, and other unique souvenirs.
Depending on the season, try the small valley apples or the arbutus berries presented in wicker cones.
Your driver can stop at any time to allow you to take photos or visit the artisan shops.
On your way back to Marrakech, take a tea break at Kasbah Tifirte, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley.
