Our adventure begins at 8 a.m. to make sure we avoid the crowd, with a 3-hour journey through enchanting landscapes.

Located about 150 km northeast of Marrakech, these falls are easily accessible by car or through an organized excursion like with Just Marrakech.

The path, sometimes without guardrails, offers a breathtaking view of the OUZOUD river plunging in a waterfall 110m below. Despite my vertigo, the beauty of the place encouraged me to approach the edge to capture these incredible moments.

• Hiking and Exploration : Follow the winding trails to discover different views of the falls. Be sure to visit the small traditional mill at the top of the falls. The hike took us through rich vegetation of olive trees, fig trees, and thuja, with appreciated stops at local merchants.
• Swimming : Find a quiet pool to refresh yourself after the hike. The water is invigorating!
• Picnic and Relaxation : Bring your lunch and enjoy a picnic with a breathtaking view. or settle down on a restaurant terrace with an unparalleled view of the Ouzoud Waterfalls and the sound of the waterfalls.
• Encountering wildlife : Keep an eye out to spot the Barbary macaques or Magot monkeys that inhabit the region. It’s a joyful and photogenic experience for the whole family!
